Virginia legalized sports betting in April 2024. Anyone who is at least 21 years of age, has a valid United States Social Security Number and is physically located within the state of Virginia can bet with DraftKings Sportsbook there. It operates under the Virginia Lottery.

Virginia gambling laws are relatively restrictive. The Commonwealth does runs a statewide lottery, and allows for garnishment of winnings for unpaid child support. Casinos and greyhound racing are specifically prohibited. Additionally, Virginia allows betting on games of chance in private residences.

Select your bet type: Single, Multi or System. Enter the stake you wish to wager on your selected bets. Tap the Place bet  button (if your selections are correct) to submit your betslip. The confirmation page will be displayed upon successful processing.
