Wherever you have a current or savings account, you can apply for a Maestro credit card there. You can use net banking or mobile banking to apply for a maestro debit card online. There isn't much paperwork needed to issue the Maestro card because you already have a savings or current account.

Mid 2024 Maestro and VPAY debit cards will no longer be issued. Debit Mastercard and Visa Debit will replace them. The reason for this decision is that consumers worldwide can make (online) purchases with Mastercard and Visa debit cards, where this is limited to Europe with Maestro and VPAY.
